Our staff first met Trudi at Berkley Animal Center in Moncks Corner, South Carolina while we were there assisting with spay and neuter surgeries and vaccinations. The area faces several challenges - there’s serious overcrowding, with more animals coming in than shelters are able to adopt out, which means that a special dog like Trudi would be competing with other healthy dogs and puppies.
