Cyclospora, a parasite causing “explosive diarrhea,” is spreading in the US, including Michigan, New York, Texas. Authorities are trying to find the cause.

Two parasitic illnesses are spreading this summer. Health officials say 10 cryptosporidium cases have been confirmed in Bexar County and urge residents to wash produce, avoid swallowing pool water and wash hands often.
